Cutest Pet Photo Winner Announced! Over $800 raised to fight leukemia & lymphoma!

aka spot helped sposor a 'Cutest Pet Photo" competition at the shop, to help raise money and awareness in the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma. We had lots of competitors, each making at least a $5 donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and each voter making at least a 50-cent donation.

The winner will be featured in the spot chronicle, and happily received a $100 Gift Certificate from aka spot. We did all this in conjunction with the Team In Training group, planning a triathlon to raise money in the fight. The winner? Stella! (shown at right)

Get your pup new year's clean, at spot's self-wash!

a.k.a. spot is working with Greyhound Welfare to help find adoptive homes for greyhounds throughout the Washington Metro area. Want to meet some great dogs? Come visit us in the new year, when scheduling a whole new slate of dates for you to come and find your new best friend.

Greyhound foster dogs and ambassadogs would love to meet you! And their Greyhound Welfare volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions. So come out and meet the dogs and the people from this great organization!.
